Lauder College House Office Manager Position (Work-Study Positions ONLY) 2020-21

We are currently hiring for 6 Office Manager Positions; Students residing in Lauder College House in Fall 2020 with Work-Study Grants are eligible. No other work experience required. Shared Responsibilities

Completes tasks as assigned by House Coordinator and House Dean. Tasks may include, updating dry erase board signs, participating in virtual events in order to take pictures and other remote tasks.

Communicates with other office staff members, RAGAs, faculty, House Coordinator and House Dean to promote house activities and initiatives

Promotes LCH assessment and feedback initiatives, including LCH Fall survey, Spring College House Survey, and ongoing informal survey opportunities

Creates monthly displays for house office decorations

Office Manager positions will take place virtually in the Fall semester. In-office responsibilities may be incorporated later on public health guidance and university expectations.

Other duties as assigned

******Each Office Manager will be responsible for special projects in one of the following categories. While the category for which they are hired will remain their primary focus, Office Managers can expect to be trained on how to assist in each category:

Social Media Content Managers (2 positions available)

Oversees house social networking accounts, which may include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.

Creates and shares content via social media accounts that promotes student engagement with LCH

Design and implement initiatives that support LCH social media

Edits video and podcast content for upload to LCH YouTube channel

Other duties as assigned

 

Marketing Managers (2 positions available)

Creates materials to market LCH initiatives in high and low-tech media

Collects pictures at LCH events; maintains a photo archive via flicker for use on social media, house webpage, newsletter, and other outlets

Creates weekly newsletter for LCH on Mailchimp

Provides weekly statistics report on Mailchimp newsletter

Promotes College House Signature Programs: Research Fellows, Music Fellows, Film Festival (during 2020-2021 school year, these programs will likely be virtual)

Other duties as assigned

 

Discord Managers (2 positions available)

Helps create a Discord Server for LCH including creating community guidelines in Discord

Maintains secure server membership for the house

Moderates house server to make sure that community guidelines are followed

Seeks informal feedback from within Discord about programming and activity ideas

Compiles weekly report about Discord statistics
